I'm an experienced professional with fifteen years in higher education. I've been fortunate to serve students and scholars in multiple capacities, and my roles as an assistant director and instructional librarian have prepared me to work with a wide range of students, faculty, and independent scholars. My personal experience as a professor, librarian, and student gives me a unique perspective on the challenges facing today's writers.

As the founder of Best Academic Editing, a company specializing in dissertation and thesis editing, I have helped numerous doctoral students across the country craft well-written academic work. Over the past six years, I've drawn on my strong knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style to provide professional editing services to a wide range of clients, many of whom return to me again and again because of the quality of service I deliver.

As an editor, I work one-on-one with students to build meaningful, trustworthy relationships. I help them overcome common grammatical mistakes, improve formatting and organization, and gain confidence in their abilities as writers. I've also guided theology students through complex, practice-oriented topics such as ministry. My client base spans higher education, schools, and administration.

I earned my Ph.D. in Practical Theology from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, an M.Div. from Campbell University, and a B.S. in History from the University of Mount Olive, the latter two both in North Carolina. I also hold a Copyediting Certificate from the University of San Diego.

I'm also the author of A Postmodern Theology of Ritual Action, published by Pickwick and available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retailers. I contributed a chapter to The Liminal Loop: Astonishing Stories of Discovery and Hope (Lutterworth Press), and I remain an active scholar, having presented at numerous conferences and special events. I currently teach graduate-level courses in Christian history and theology at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

I live in Central Florida with my beautiful wife, Rebekah, and my sweet daughters, Ava and Audrey.
